If you want to appeal to the American audience you must hire a USA native or a very good professional author. Any American can pick out an Englishman’s article unless he/she is quite good pretty much instantaneously. It is pointless to try to do anything else until your site is cohesive and within the boundaries that could fit a language and dialect. A search engine can figure out a dialect and language and direct it to the proper audience.
