Any legitimate company or person conducting online gaming business who avoids using transparency, should be avoided. Besides, anyone who is legit would realise using a free email account raises a red flag. This person is mostly probably out to scam you.

Excellent point.
Why hide behind a gmail account?
It is too easy to ‘run off’ after you cheat someone.
It is hard enough separating real from wrong with websites much less a ‘no investment’ email account – you are like a ‘ghost’ whenever you want to be.
