For low cost hosting I’ve been lucky with ipage.
I even contacted support at one of the other hosts with a problem I had with a script working.
They said the script was not good.
I tried the same one (and a few other ones) at ipage, and they worked right away.
The hosts all had the correct specs needed for the scripts.
