Well, the new software is not open for aquisitions at the time, it is more like a way to let players keep playing and keep affiliates happy by continuing to pay for old players while ducking the UIGEA situation. UIGEA will be coming into effect the first of next month – probably – efforts are underway to stall it once more.
The software – it’s like MGS sold most of it’s minor games to another provider. The licenced games like Thunderstruck, Hellboy and Tombraider are not included. Tournaments and progressives are also excluded.
All MGS operator groups will have one casino to catch displaced US players.
Player feedback so far is not good – they miss the removed games. Still, the remaining games are good quality also and choices in the US have been reduced to RTG, Rival and Topgame. Players want variety for the most part, and many swear by MGS.
