I would imagine those programs will not be so easily brought back if they left strickly on the fee’s.
Hope to see them return, it is a shame to see them leaving.

Well, I don’t think any of us at CAP assume the departure of some of the programs was based strictly based on fees. Additionally i think its fair to say the fee adjustment was not based on the recent public relations nightmare, or fear of losing sponsors, but more a change in management coupled with a very real understanding of a changing economy, and very much a shift in the way we at Affiliate Media do business.

In the past CAP has acted as a promotional vehicle, a community, and voice for affiliates in the industry. That’s changed a bit, not 100% but I think we would be fools if we did not adjust our tactics and focus to adapt to the changing economy. It is this economic slowdown, that has us shifting away from a passive role to a more active one. In the coming months, you will see a significant change in the look at feel of both CAP and PAP, as well as new solutions targeted at helping affiliates and operators convert better and utilize the more social nature of a changing internet.

So will they come back? I’m betting on it, and working hard every day to ensure they do.

Additionally, I just want to throw it out there, that I am very much open to suggestions, and comments from anyone in the community, as without you, we are just a website. Essentially more than ever you have a voice in how the community is run, and what offerings we make available.

Thanks,
Bob
