Saw this thread, just thought we’d post our two cents. We certainly don’t give validity to the claims that online casinos fund terrorists in the US, but, hypothetically, if they did, then regulations would help stop that and also…
Not only would regulation lead to a safer environment online, but it could lead to the capture of terrorists around the world. If these same terrorists that are laundering their money were to do so under a regulated system, the government would be privileged to information of their whereabouts.
That is of course only if operators cooperated with the government, much the same way Betfair (Betfair?) and other sportsbook sites, help catch players/refs, in sports gambling cheating scandals in the UK.
