With all due respect, I think you still don’t get the point. I could be wrong, but I believe what the Professor meant was not that it would “scare other operators”, but that if the lawsuit didn’t go our way, but instead ruled in favour of GP, then this could set a president for other affy programs to renege on contracts and dump their partners without any repercussions.
This would be a very dark day indeed, and the absolute worst possible outcome.
