While they are saying that existing players will be able to continue to play, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the near future that changes. Everything has been changing. First it was certain states banned, then another state, then bordering states, and then the whole US. If they don’t accept new US players I think it is definitely likely that all players will be banned in the near future. If they are pulling out for legal, processing, UIGEA, or any of the other reasons speculated on, then why would they continue to let established players play? I wouldn’t be trying to build a large established base of US players because they say they will continue to be able to play. I hope I am wrong.
