I’ve had my run ins with your “critters” over here. Why, just two nights ago I found out a possum lives in a trashcan in our complex about 10m from my front door. Now, when I go out for a cigarette at night, he sits there and watches me. Of course, I’m not sure how dangerous these things are, but I’m not taking chances, so it evolves into this nightly staring contest.

Also, for your viewing pleasure, I present to you the queensland bird eating spiders…eating a bird!
