These are great tips – Few things of feedback on them so far
GamTrack – That band was soooo loud for me and I was 5 tables away whilst they were literally beside your table – I can’t believe you could hear at all
Staying after awards – We have secured the venue till 1am this time – Unfortunately at these kinds of venues it is hard to get later
Free Shuttle – We are doing it this time
naked boys – I have told the sponsor that they should mix it up a little bit this time to please the growing number of ladies (and Martyn) should they go with painted people again and I think they have listened…..
Free for everyone – I really wish we could do this but the event costs sooooo much money – For example before you take into account all the extra costs such as AV, effects, pre cockatail party, awards, commedian, marketing etc etc a per head cost from the venue is £130 so we actually lose money for each affiliate ticket we sell immediately and hope that the non affiliate table purchases and sponsorships equal it out at the end – TBH our aim is not to make money on the awards so if it happended that they suddenly turned a profit we would just plough it back into the event and buy extr stuff like a clown :wink-wink
