From an affiliate perspective I know a few people who have offered their players Wii and Playstation 3 consoles as prizes. I know there is the general sentiment that cash is always the best. However, I think that providing a real, tangible prize that they wait to get and then use frequently really adds a fun gesture to the whole contest.
