I agree with all the people who have to fly over from the States/Canada (ey) because for some reason, there is ALWAYS turbulence above the Atlantic Ocean.

Last year, myself and the GF were on our way to Costa Rica, we got woken up with a couple of bumps which were pretty okay, until 5 minutes into the bumps, the Captain asked the flight staff to take their seats because there was no way around the turbulence. Next thing, BANG, up down, up down, for a solid 15 minutes. I seriously thought the wings were gonna fall off it was so bad. Not only did the gf crush my hand to shit, but the person on the other side of me was doing pretty much the same to my other hand without even knowing it!

So, flying is not one of my fave things in the world and I also often have dreams I am in a plane and it is falling out of control. They are really not the best dreams to have, but I think for people in this industry where you need to travel more than most, you will more often than not find that you will also have these dreams.

Nothing worse than the dreaded elevator dropping dreams though. Had another one of those bastard dreams last night!! They are like a weekly dream for me these days!

Regarding the pills… Renee – Just be careful not to do what I did with sleeping pills. I always thought a few G&T’s and a small bottle of wine with dinner would help me relax a little before i popped a sleeping pill until one time when I was flying to Vegas and woke up about an hour after the thing had kicked in and I asked the air hostess for some water cause I was REALLY thirsty. When i looked again, she was nowhere and the girl sitting next to me was looking at me with this odd look on her face. When I asked if there was an air hostess there, she said no, she did not know who I was talking to. LoL!!
