Our civill liberties are being taken away from us a little bit at a time. With each loss, Big Government tightens its surveillance of the body politic — it’s getting increasingly difficult to draw a deep, free breath. We need change now, to destroy the boa constrictor before the b.s. completely suffocates our cherished free society. So far we’ve got governance by fear, phone surveillance, suspension of habeas corpus, the UIGEA, and scores of other governmental abuses of power. We really can’t handle 4 more years of this and expect to keep the republic which Ben Franklin warned us that, without passionate vigilance, we would surely lose.
