I’m glad that you mentioned this because if I’m going to be approched via MSN I prefer to have a clue of what the person want right off the bat. That way I can decide if I want to be ‘bothered’ at that time or not. I don’t like when folks start off an IM with nothing more then “Hi” or “Are you there”.
For instance I reply to those that will say “Hey Robin, how you doing? I wanted to know blah blah blah, etc”. even if I’m busy at the time.
