Speaking of judgemental, the one thing that bothered me about that segment was the fact that Sherry started talking about how God does not condon it and what the bible sais on the subject, blah blah blah.
Personally, I feel that the bible is a guide and not so much the actual Word of God, but also consists of what man’s interpretation of what he sees as “right”. I can’t wrap my head around the idea that you automatically go to hell for being gay.
I grew up with the understanding that we are all equal in God’s eyes and HE is the one that created us so why would a particular group be damned from the start with no chance of forgiveness or eternal life?
