Kris – Following on from JB’s reply above, I’d just like to echo his appreciation for your detailed feedback….

– add the ability to have multiple ‘account profiles’ under the one login. A lot of affiliates will have accounts that they own 100% and then some in partnership with others. Or they will want to keep general sites and gaming sites apart, so segregated monthly totals and account stats need to be kept. I don’t think a separate subscription should be needed for this. Even just the ability to ‘group’ programs and have subtotals would do. It’s too simplistic to assume that everything is always lumped into the one total.

This ability to group and segregate your stats is coming in Version 4. However, in the meantime, you can run multiple instances of StatsRemote on the same PC which will go some way to meeting your need.

– it needs a way to account for tiered revenue share percentages, otherwise stats at some programs will be inaccurate month to month if a higher % is attained. For example – Bodog’s stats return just the NGR, so a earn % has to be manually input into stats remote – but in my case revenue grew to a new threshold this month, upping % earn from what it was the previous month – if I change the percentage in the account details it makes this month accurate, but past months inaccurate…

We have not encountered this concept too often in our 5 1/2 years but as it is occurring more frequently now, we are looking at ways to resolve the problem.

– a mass account upload feature would be good – from a csv or similar. It’d be very easy to do and really cut down the initial setup time. Get the program to export a spreadsheet with all the gaming programs listed and the required fields, then affiliates fill in usernames & passwords and delete unnecessary rows, then import it back to the software.

This is already on our to-do list and will be included as part of a future Version 4.x release sometime next year.

– with all the data that it has access to, I’m surprised there are no reporting or graphing tools available. You can’t even export… Sure you can copy and paste to excel I guess, but it’d be nice to hit a button and graph the year’s growth month to month and stuff like that. What’s the use of having stats if you can’t get them represented in the easiest formats to understand and see your trends? You might say this is just a stats gathering tool, not an analysis tool, but if I log into the affiliate websites, I can do things like this at most programs and look at month to month stats all at once, so if you want people to skip logging into the affiliate sites, we need the same sort of tools available.

Currently you can generate a report and select Edit – > Copy into a spreadsheet as you say. You can also right click a program or the totals and select Show Graph…. For example, this feature already allows you to display a graph for the year’s growth ‘month to month’ for either individual programs or the totals. Both of these features will be significantly improved in Version 4.

– Why make the password field be filled in twice? I understand it for collecting data accurate data via a web form – but for a reporting app it is just overkill and a waste of time to paste the password twice all the time.

Writing as someone who is on the receiving end of the support emails, a significant number of these are already password entry errors and frankly this would only increase if we were to only have one field. Given this is only encountered when adding a program, we would prefer to keep this requirement.

– please add Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, Duplicate Poker, 888, Bookmaker.com, Poker4ever, Poker Host, Fabulous.com.

Full Tilt Poker… we tried to add it before but were not able to. We will look into this again in case they have changed something in the meantime.

PokerStars… we contacted them before to get an affiliate account but never got one. Do you have a contact there we could use?

Duplicate Poker… they use Commission Junction. Please add a new account to StatsRemote and select ‘Commission Junction’ as program type. Or do they have their own affiliate program as well?

888.com… It’s listed as two programs: Casino on Net and Pacific Poker. When we added these programs they were separate and we kept it this way when they merged because people asked us to do that.

Bookmaker.com… we signed up with them and will try to add them ASAP.

Poker4ever (Rakemakers) … we signed up with them too and will try to add them ASAP.

Poker Host …. we’re in contact with them and I hope we will be able to add it soon.

Fabulous.com… should be included in this week’s update.

Add the ability to manually update past month’s revenue, or simply add a line item to a single month. This is handy when the affiliate programs are offering bonuses – eg send us 20 players this month and get an extra $200, or an extra $10 CPA per player. We need to be able to report that $200 somehow, because more often than not these sorts of things are not included in the normal stats.

We will see if we can incorporate such a feature into Version 4.

It would also be good when Stats Remote is not working for a particular program. For example, of the programs I have input so far about 8 don’t seem to be reporting… I’m still going to have to log in manually to those programs to see the stats – it’d be good if I could paste the past month’s results into Stats Remote so my records are complete, even when it can’t seem to retrieve the data itself.

It is quite clear why such a feature would be attractive but given the sheer range of different stats formats (we literally have 1000s of programs already), the concept of copy/paste in this way would be a major task even just for the monthly totals. That said, we will investigate the possibility of making it possible for you to manually enter these totals.
