I saw one clip (or I heard on the radio) that talked about how Kerry apparently did answer the guy’s question, as he was being tased. I don’t know what he said, though.
This guy should sue the crap out of that police department. His first amendment rights were trampled, for no reason whatsoever.
Now the officers are on paid leave. Must be nice to be a cop — screw up royally and you can still collect a paycheck.
Two officers in my town were caught on tape beating an inmate in the jail bathroom. (It was an unprovoked beating). The officers were placed on paid leave — over a year ago — and just a few weeks ago the charges against them were dropped due to some sort of technicality. WTF? They abused this man for no reason, and as “punishment,” they got a one year paid vacation?? Outrageous.
