I’m surprised that the salaries are so low. It doesn’t make sense. think about it. An affiliate manager has to organize and try to excel the program. If I was an affiliate manager and making $1000 per month, I’d get resentful after a while watching affiliates make serious money, while I was busting my hump for them (Why did I say “hump”, I don’t know where that came from). It’s just human nature. Is that why there’s a high grade of “turnover” of affiliate managers?
I like the “pay for performance” model of business. That would give high performing affiliate managers incentive for performance (fast responses and proactive affiliate support).
