It seems that the Bodog group has been involved in a patent infringement. They have been ordered by a U.S court to pay $ 48,937,456.00 to 1ST TECHNOLOGY LLC.
1st Technology claims that Bodog has used their patent without being licensed.
Not sure how and what they did.
Chartwell Technology Inc has a contract with 1st Technology to use their patented optimization technology for online gaming products.
Maybe due to the offshore nature of Bodog and lack of U.S assets they are considering Bodog’s .com domains as U.S ones and are being seized.
