Hey All,
I actually want to approach these issues in a positive way. We have opened our solution to affiliates as we believe that it has a major advantage for them (and for us).
Our basic drive was to solve the inherent disadvantage of being an affiliate (in any industry for that matter) which means that we spend time and money, we deliver a player to an operator and we lose him once he switches to another property. The B4Playing solution solves it! Once a user downloads the client any transition, at any time, from one property to another (through the client) provides B4Playing with a CPA commission. It is very possible that a player, who is interested in, say, reviews, or came across a banner or another piece of information, will go to a property through that link (like it happens today). We do not mess with any links out of our tool. This is fine with us. We do not claim and will never claim that we limit the user from searching or going to a property not through our client. We do believe that our client will ease players’ life and will help them in taking smart decisions B4 they play. This should solve your first concern Allfreechips.
A good friend of mine, a huge affiliate in the industry, loved us, he was extatic and has asked us to rent or licence him the software. That triggered us and thus we came up with an affiliate program (the one certified by the CAP) and offer affiliates to join us by sending traffic to our site and get players to download the client. Any traffic sent through our banner or through PPC belongs (through a specific link) to the affiliate (we got from each property a unique links to the users of the specific affiliate – yeh we are dealing with hundreds of thousands of trackers). The same as we all do when we send traffic to any property. The link is used and is embedded at the client being downloaded by the user and it “belongs” to the affiliate and attached to his account. Any new property being used (player deposits money) is referred to the specific affiliate. Here comes our Multiple CPA concept. The affiliate keeps earning CPA commission every time the player switches from one operator to another.
Yes, Dominique, there will be cases where a player will read a review and will not take an immediate action and later on will click on the link supplied at the B4Playing client. I believe that this is how the advertizing model works in general. I believe that the opposite will happen too. A user will get to know about a certain property at the B4Playing client, will not act immediately and later on will click on a banner or Adword or read a review on any site and click their link and the one other place will get the commission. The same goes to your second comment. Yes, we are sure that there will be special offers being offered exclusively to B4Playing community. This is the same as a large affiliate who gets an exclusive bonus. Affiliates who will work with us will have the opportunity to make more money from users referred by them if the user will switch to the property who is offering it.
Now to the most serious concern raised in this thread by Kwblue. B4Playing is very sensitive about personal data. The only data we track is the following:
1. We track the affiliate’s link so that we can refer the CPA to the affiliate who brought the user.
2. We track where the user goes. We have no idea if the user deposited money or not (the same as the standard affiliate model.) The information is brought to us on the specific affiliate trackers and they are the one reporting it (not like other programs we know that the users are reporting where they have converted…)
We have a clear No Spyware, no Malware and No Spam policy. See us at http://affiliates.b4playing.com/privacy_policy.html and http://affiliates.b4playing.com/anti_spam_policy.html …… We are very serious about it. In all my years of work, we tried to avoid it. This is a good time to say, if someone is an affiliate/webmaster generating bad players or just registering people we do not want business with him/her. Saying that, if you were for some reason registered by someone, you should have an opt-out link at the bottom of the initial email – please click on it and you shall be removed. Practically we are now checking who registered other people to our system.
Hope the above clarifies it all. Will be happy to answer and give more clarifications here or through my mail, phone or any way of communication.
