Consider. if we all were to accept the added predatory terms which many casinos have tried over the years to push on us … its no different than accepting the rakeback scheme and saying ….. I’ll take what you’ll give me.

I’m sorry Dan. I respect you but your view on the rakeback situation is far off balance for obvious reason.
Yes its true the rakeback scheme is out of control and widely accepted. But how many of the poker rooms are offering and extra incentive for your taking a lesser amount of income for offering such a kickback?
this has happened because enough affs didn’t fight it in the start. adding to the problem is like saying well the house is on fire … might as well throw some gas on it. The logic is not there.
See the bigger picture. Fight for your compensation….. don’t accept less because the next guy is stupid enough to do so.
yes I said stupid. whoever started this rakeback thing was as ignorant as someone who sells hotdogs for a penny profit when everybody else was selling them for a $1. it forced the others to cut back or get out. Most got out. that’s a sad matter and exactly why I don’t promote the majority of poker rooms. those that are still in it may think they’re smart …. but they don’t see the dollar for the dime in front of them and are seemingly willing to accept that while the poker rooms still set back and make their very nice profit while those willing to offer rakeback struggle with figuring out who has what coming back to them each month …. and living on the difference.
I cannot think of a more ignorant approach to affiliate marketing and Thank God it hasn’t happened to the casino end of things. And if it ever does …… I hope the affs band together and do all they can to burn these morons to the ground that attempt such an approach.
I don’t apologize for my bluntness. it is deserved. and before you are ready to condemn me for my pov……… stop and figure out how much money you’d have made had you chosen an honorable approach to this matter.
and don’t tell me rakeback is honorable. just because everybody is doing it doesn’t make it any more right than any other approach that cheats fair-minded affs out of their deserved earnings because someone found a way to be more affordable to the public. at some point ……. simple logic tells us that it cuts the very throats of those that make a living selling such a product.
the only reason this is continued is because most affs have chosen not to fight it and concentrate on casino marketing.
