Well OK – it might be …
:bigsmile:

But isn’t the point of this forum to get discussion going – and since Raymond from CommissionKing has shown up – I hope to discuss it openly.

Here is where I see it :

(1) One player every three months is NOT a high hurdle in my opinion …
FFS if you cannot manage this then you are no longer an “active” affilaite for the program are you?

(2) Even so – I asked whether a Unique Click method might also be acceptable
Affiliate websites deliver clicks – but we cannot close the deal. So this might also be a valid measurement for CommissionKing to consider.

So what would be an acceptable threshold? 10 per month?

(3) There is the use of the word MAY which suggests that there is some discretion used by the program
BB1WEBS situation is a good case in point for some sensible waivers.

With US based players no longer accepted i’s a simple question – will previously referred players still be honoured if legal situations force an affilaite to stop. How does this get decided ?

(although as I understand it all US players were suspended so it may be a moot point)

==================================

I am a satisifed CanBet affiliate. I chose to promote them after a detailed 12 week playtest and a review of their products, sports odds, joining offers, their customer support and their financial standing.

These guys are obviously in the 90%+ percentile of sportsbooks out there and are far better for players and affiliates than many of the fly-by-night sportsbooks and casinos out there.

BB1WEBS – I don’t see your issue about having to chop and change e-wallets affecting non-US Canbet customers. I’ve been using Moneybookers.com there for 2 years now. Am I missing something here?

KWBLUE – I see a lot of other small dodgy sites that fold – or get bought out and sell player databases to another site. Affiliates lose their “lifetime share” outright even though they were active.

In my opinion this is not going to happen to CanBet – players and affilaites are also not going to be stiffed. And these considerations are far more important than the low hurdle for being considered active …

But … I am interested to hear Raymond’s position on the questions that we’ve raised.
