It is really debatable as to whether an affiliate site would fall into this classification or not. Yes, income is being derived, but the act of “transmitting gambling information” can be interpreted as pertaining to actual operators only.
It really doesn’t matter to me, since I geotarget all my visitors, and don’t permit US customers to route out anyway. My problem is that NETeller will not support my receiving funds from operators, since I am a US citiizen, even though these monies come from foreign sources. To me, that is the major problem, that this recent round of DOJ strongarming has caused.
All we can really hope for, is Antigua/Barbuda being granted permission to start selling American DVD’s, software, etc., real cheap. This could force the US’ hand somewhat.
