Yep – finally a winter blast through Europe this season.
Strongest storms in 17 years says BBC. Wind gusts upto 99mph.
Basically that’s not Florida conditions at all – but is a significant storm in UK terms.
TRees falling over, roofs coming off. 11 UK people dead.
So obviously a major weather event.
But forecast for Sunday is sunny, calm – but cold. So people travelling for ICEi and Cap Euro look like they’ll miss all the action – if not the cleanup.
