Perhaps a mistake I would consider that. The fact is the URL is not traceable back to your site. I know asc11 like I know the sun will rise tommorow. I lived and breathed these characters for 28 years.
But perhaps this could be a honest mistake. Please keep us informed if possible.
BTW same problem on my site 
This will record the click but highly doubt downloads will be recorded.
