Casino & Poker “.net” ads are still running in Ontario. There was a threat of banning the ads by one of the MP’s but it has not passed in provincial parliament. The defense of the MP was the loss of potential revenue from Ontario based casinos (as they are controlled by the government).
As of this weekend – online casino & poker advertisement (.net) is still running. Just take a look at any hockey games and you will also see the board advertisement is still also very active.
I would be very surprised to hear that Canada will pass provincial or federal legislation towards online gaming in the near future.
