It’s a common practice that if you are buying a business, you should worry about these type of things and clear them up before any deals are struck. I have always been told that if you are simply buying a business’ assets then you shouldn’t have to worry. However, with websites it seems different. A website is an asset, but it’s not like a piece of equipment that gets used up and depreciated. It will be interesting to see how this thread progresses.
