Content is stolen, then asked to be removed and is removed and everybody is happy?
If somebody stole my car, but we got it back after we went out and found it and asked to have it back, I’m pretty sure further measures would be taken…
The way this industry is dealing with theft, I figure it’s ok if I go out and steal all the content I want, keep it up until if and when it is discovered, and everything will be cool?

I just don’t know. This happens time and time again. There just doesn’t seem to be any disincentive not to steal content with this approach.

i am in total agreement with you and have made my feelings very known in various threads about this. I would love to see further action.
Unfortunately, and not for the lack of trying, it does not seem that anything will be done. I have resigned myself to this fact as we have been dealing with this type of thing for so long now.
I am now just happy that it gets taken down as soon as possible so that google etc. does not penalise me again (Which has also happened on numerous occasions)
I would love for programs to take a stronger stance and stronger actions against these thieves.
I appreciate people like Nicole and a few others that at least make sure that the content gets removed.. so many other programs simply ignore my requests to look into these things.
