My reply to them was strongly worded, so it will be interesting to see if/what their response is. I have certainly followed along on the numerous problems their program has had and have taken note. Maybe that’s why I feel compelled to get to the bottom of this.

As for promoting them, we don’t really consider ourselves as a promotional site, yes we are providing a list of who we consider the best gambling sites, but the way we do it is very structured and personal opinion doesn’t really enter into the equation (it is a small part of the equation). Maybe that’s splitting hairs for what is and isn’t promotion, the point is our site has the goal of categorizing every online gambling site and presenting that to potential gamblers for them to decide. So, no matter if we are affiliated with 888 or not, we still want them listed on our site as it goes toward our credibility. (Note, we are probably 50% of the way to listing all online gambling sites).

The reason I’m saying this is to make the point that their assertion that we are purposely sending them bad traffic is almost laughable. It is the same traffic that would go to any other online gambling site listed with us. If we were purposely doing something that was driving bad traffic, I would just move onto the next program, but this is the first time we have ever received this type of correspondence and it seems to point to the larger problem with 888 and their contentious relationship with affiliates. If nothing else, maybe it serves as one more reason not to promote them.
