888 have made a firm commitment by updating their T & C’s of their affiliate program to stamp out scraping, spam etc performed by their rogue affiliates.
Instead you want a war with them instead, judging on your posts above.
This is a shame.
I would much rather work with them to help eradicate the rogue affiliates from our industry and as long as they hold true to their word. I will be supporting Lou’s positive dialogue with them.
I have also done my bit this afternoon by removing the 888 rogue page on my site. I am not telling others what to do by taking this action. You all must make up your own mind.
This was my own informed choice made after hearing the latest dialogue between Lev and Lou.
I’ve heard them say they were commited to helping the affiliates too many times, that story is getting very old and meaningless and im sick of it.
First of all, THEY declared war on us FIRST, if they wan’t to end a war, they have to do something FIRST, not just say it. I don’t think that was smart to remove your ban on 888 before they even did anything.
I would rather just see them go out of business. They can’t correct a whole serious line of bad things with one little good statement that they didn’t even fulfill yet.
Weren’t you the one who lost about over $80k with 888 because they didn’t pay you? If it was you, thats pretty stupid to advertise them again after what they did, not what you would call a good business decision or getting things done.
Sure they can say they are getting rid of the rouge affiliates and industy spam, but it doesn’t mean they are going to do it, its just the same old thing they said a long time ago, but they just ignored us and nothing got done.
So yes, I will continue to stand by my opinion and the majority and I think it’s dumb to remove any ban off them before they even do anything! They have to perform first.
