I wish you all the best, it takes a lot of courage to do what you are doing
exactly.
the way I see it; you’ve chosen to bet on yourself rather than on the fact that some corporation won’t fire or “lay you off” right before you start to become eligible for any kind of serious retirement benefits: or that the they won’t find some way to cheat you out of benefits you rightly earned. Happens all the time.
And if that happens, well I’d hate to have to learn a viable trade at the age of 71.
Where as this is something you can do all your life, though casinos may not always be in the picture.
I really don’t see a downside, other than you won’t have any free time at work to give me a call and chew the fat.
