“Hello. The first thing he will have to decide is if he is going to allow rakeback. With so much competition not only with poker sites in general, but also the other umpteen Prima sites, he will have to differntiate the site. Why will top level affiliates push the site instead of others and also why would players choose to play there? Solid answers to these questions will be a good start.”

Hi pokermonger

I don’t think that his site will be doing rakeback, but I will bring it to his attention and find out.

Besides the name, as you say, differentiation of product is pretty tough within the Prima Network. Maybe if he was to focus on account management, work closely with his affiliates and offer the best commissions he could afford, maybe that could make a difference? He’s an honest guy and i’ve known him for years, hopefully that would win some support.

I think he’s hoping that players would choose to play their for the same reasons that they play on other Prima network sites. But maybe, he could work on offering some kind of unique promotion? I will ask him and get back to you…………

“Offer affiliates the best creatives and 40% commission.”

Hi Antoine,

I get the feeling from your feedback so far that this might be an area where he can offer something more competitive. Would all affiliates expect 40% flat fee or do you think they would go for a sliding scale based on how well their players performed that month? (say starting at 30% and rising to 40%)

“Well, if Alan does straight forward business like Chris this will be a good thing! We do need to find out about the rake back tough…”

Hi Dominique,

That is very kind of you to say (lol). I think that time will tell is the honest answer here. And I will ask him about the rakeback………
