The Microsoft people explained to me that servicepack 2 has bad interactions with a number of programs causing trouble with some people and not others. They did not have a list of these programs and said they still didn’t know what they all were.
Other than losing all my outlook content until they helped me recover it, I have had no problems except the source code. I mostly just want it for mailers and love your suggestion of opening it into a text file.
I know everyone loves firefox – I used opera for a while, and I tried the others but I always come back to IE. I am just most comfortable with it.
