Hi again,
the way I look at it; is if they really just had tracking issues (with the old system) then anyone still promoting them should see a much better bottom line than the old days.
A program (this or any other) can only cry “tech glitch, human error or the dog ate my homework” for so long.
For me, I am willing to give them another chance. I won’t, in fact can’t afford to carry them for very long however.
I truly hope that 3 months from now I can claim they’ve come close to expectations. What I am seeing so far is not overly-promising but I figure in another 8 – 10 weeks I will be able to make a statement about them with much more confidence so for now I will keep my fingers crossed.
I do think the transparency of the stats reporting is a good thing, but (and please correct me if I’m wrong) : but I think the reporting still is not in real time, and anytime there is a gap between the time my testers deposit, and the time it shows up in stats, it obviously leaves room for doubt about whether all the income is being reported.
I DO believe however that all the signups are being reported simply because if there is any intential cheating being done, IMHO its being done via the use of cross-marketing without giving the aff credit, or by simply waiting a few months and then removing the player from the aff’s account. I say that not with any one progam in mind, but rather offer it as the most logical and efficient way of cheating us.
That puts FL in a tight spot however because I will say this about them, and always have: FL surely should have excellent player retention because I know I am often swayed by the offers they send in email and that was even back when I had issues with them, so I know if I am tempted to play then surely many others are.
Yet the past has proven this not to be the case; I hope that problem was cured when they installed the new stats tracking however. Time will tell that tale soon enough.
The lack of retention has been the biggest reason they have held so few positions on my sites up until now. I could live with the poor conversion ratio; but when I finally get a player; I expect some kick-ass effort at keeping the player for an extended period of time.
I feel I’m taking a big leap of faith to even still have them on my sites when considering the past 4 years.
I hope I am rewarded pleasantly, God knows I deserve it considering the past performances.
