This is what Brent says:
as for the money being removed from arkyt’s account is has nothing to do with a cash in. if you cashed it in or not the profit to the casino was negative. you could have left it in your casino account and it would still be there hoping that you would lose it back at some point and then the stats would reverse and arkyt’s stats would go up. our stats and all affiliates stats that i know of work on total bets – total payouts. on your play your total bets – total payouts worked out to be around -800 so that is what was shown regardless of the cashin. the process is that if you don’t want your cash in after 1 week the money is placed back in your casino account where you can play with it. but as the casino they cannot remove that money because that would be stealing from the player. it is your choice to get it paid to you but the casino could not just give it back to the casino because that would be stealing, imagine the trouble the casino would get it in if the policy was to just take money from players. we have to be accountable for every cent, that means the players have to see where the money is and if the cashin does not go through it goes back to their account under their supervision and control.
From an accounting point of view it makes sense. But the money was not back in my account after a week, and from a common sense point of view, the affiliate should still never be debited if the money isn’t ever paid out.
Anyway, this was not the purpose of the exercise but Brent saw to it that I got paid.
I guess that puts the matter at rest for me – I just wish Arkyt was back.
