“anybody half worth their salt knows that the smartest thing a gambling establishment can do; is to make their new arrivals winners.”

When it comes to poker, this is certainly not true. It would be hideously bad business.

If they had a choice, card rooms would want regular players to not lose. If newbies constantly beat regulars, a cardroom would be out of business almost instantly.

Poker is not like casino games. You need people to play. New players are much more likely to wade in if they see thousands playing compared to six people at one table. To have thousands, you have to have satified customers. Satisfied customers come from not treating people wrong.

The plain fact of the matter is most poker players stink, and even more importantly, they don’t think they stink. There may be no area of life than online poker where there is a greater gap between genuine ability and delusional ability.

Hundreds of players have run statistics programs on the large, established poker sites and there is nothing “funny” going on. Weird stuff is supposed to happen in the game. It’s kinda the point.

It’s true that it would make sense to not trust iglobal with much of anything, but again the fact of the matter is in poker the money is in the rake, and you don’t screw with a quarter billion dollar a year business to pick up a few pennies.

To the original question, a couple weks of poker means nothing. A goat with a lobotomy could have a horseshoe stuck up its butt for a week. Check back in a few months.
