Yes Milhouse, but consider this.
If you were going to make sure “certain” signups showed in stats, you’d have to do it either by region, ie via a zip code; area code; possibly by state/region.
And … if you were even half-good at trying to conceal the fact that you were shaving players, wouldn’t the golden rule be to make sure that anybody that signed up with the same last name as the webmaster, was to always show up in the stats?
I’m not saying anybody out there is doing anything; but if they were; wouldn’t that be the way to go?
First thing I’d do is to make sure any signups that may come from the same last name, or from the same state/area code/zip code (pick one or all) would always show up.
Because if you’re testing, you’re most likely to use a relative, or someone else’s PC which needless to say, isn’t going to be half way around the world from your location. Its more likely to be across the street at your neighbors.
