Yep, spiders can throw off your tracking and should be filtered and also use a tracking program that if possible can give referring pages.
Having a few friends test a link is also a very good idea.
My concern and hence this thread was the wildly innaccurate results of bingo programs in relation to casinos and poker in my experience.
ie. The bulk of casinos and poker rooms track pretty closely to my own results and this is something I cast my eyes over at various intervals and that data (casinos and poker rooms) is pretty extensive across a fair few sites.
