Now this is not hard coded tracking on cd’s.. What was explained is they will track the sign up page, then they will match up by email address when the person finally does download
This confuses me.
So the person signs on via the CD which has no code. Then they are asked to leave their email and that will be matched against all the hits produced by all the affs – during what time period? Eternity? A week?
That doesn’t sound practical, and I doubt they will search all affiliate accounts for emails matching clicks a month or two or more back.
I am very sceptical.
