Hello everybody,
I’d like to thank you all for your feedback in this discussion.
Please know that we take each of the above
issues very seriously and strive to solve them in
a mutually beneficial manner.
In our efforts to identify a long term solution with
regards to CD’s, we met with our technical department
and are pleased to announce the following:
As of early next week, CD registrations WILL carry the
affiliate ID. Furthermore, you will be able to see the
number of CD registrations and CD customer sign ups
that take place.
To recap on my earlier post, Casino Coins is making
every effort to help improve conversions and we
encourage webmasters to contact us individually so that
we may develop personalized plans for each of you.
Casino Coins also maintains that we do not have control
over your player’s chargebacks. However, by working
together, we can try to pin point the reasons for
chargebacks and seek to minimize their occurrence.
Finally, there have been a few personal remarks made
about Yali on this post, which he would like to address
himself. Please find his response below.
Once again, I appreciate your participation in this
positive discussion and look forward to continuing our
long term relationship.
If you have any personal outstanding issues, please feel
free to email me at [email protected]
Sincerely,
Connie Burstin
Message from Yali:
Hi,
First of all, I want to thank everyone for the great
feedback and suggestions. It’s a good opportunity
for us to identify issues and make plans to improve
the program.
In reading your responses, I have obviously seen
the comments made about myself and feel it is
important to answer them personally.
I’ll begin with Ronda. Please, if you are going to
quote someone, make sure you do it accurately.
I have already responded to your demand to “remove
all CD request forms from our casinos immediately”
with a definitive answer – No Way. My answer
remains the same.
As we both know, our CDs are hard coded and therefore
not a viable tool for low volume distribution. Since you
received 500 CDs customized with your code, you
would have known that better than anyone else.
All click throughs, regardless of the industry, have a
percentage of loss. This is due to a number of
changing variables: slow connection, internet
traffic, pop up blockers, DOS attacks, tracking definitions
across systems…etc.
Normally some traffic will get lost and it can range
from 5% to 20%. I was offering you an example of
extreme cases.
The possibility of a Splash page was and still is a poor
solutionto our problem. Since we only began
sending CDs recently, we have been working on a
solution that allows us to use the CDs across all
acquisition channels, provide the necessary backend
reporting and keep the user experience as simple as
possible.
Finally, to Allan, I’d appreciate it if you would talk to
me before passing judgment on my attitude.
I believe the Casino Coins program is the hardest
working program in the industry. Connie and her team
are doing a great job and we are seeing great results.
Again, thank you all for your great feedback – we are listening.
