I talked to Connie today and advised her certification for Casino Coins was on hold until they made some progress on the following issues:
Communication with affiliates – On message boards, via emails or support requests and via telephone. I told her that one of the positive things John and Cedrik did was being active with commuincation. Since John left I felt that communication had suffered and I wanted to see it at least return to the previous levels if not get better. I told her that a big part (and requirement) of being a certified member here at CAP was to respond to querries on the message boards in a timely manner and not to hide and just call people on the phone only when there was no other way out. This is something that needs to be worked on and I hope we can get her out of her shell. Please don’t beat her too soundly while we try to get her out of her shell. I think she really is concerned that she will be beaten up if she answers controversial posts. Lets try to deal with her firmly on issues without being too imitimidating. If she cant take the heat of the kitchen thats another story, but I do want to giver her a fair chance to improve.
Tracking issues – Let’s have a real dialogue on tracking issues and concerns. This is to be done in the open where everyone can see what problems do exist and whats being done to correct them.
CDs and how they are distributed – We are working on a reasonable solution where they dont steal our players with unmarked CDs via the landing pages or private solicitations of exisiting players. This is a VERY important issue and one that so far Casino Coins has sent mixed signals on.
That’s where we are at for now regarding their application for certification. I told Connie merely pledging there would be improvements was not enough. “Show me, don’t tell me” was my position.
If I see real improvements over the next few weeks we will revisit certification. If nothing happens then we leave things the way they are.
Thats where we are at.
