Good to know others are behind you 100%. This kind of thing more than irks me. Sh*t, we work hard for a living, we know it is a grind and accept it but getting ground down as well?
A little bit of memory jogging recalls one Shai calling me about 3 years ago regarding promotion of Tradal’s biggest commodity CON, which I had promoted a year or so previously.
Basically, I had promoted them big time and had a HUGE amount of downloads and VERY few conversions, only to discover they had a huge problem with their installer for anyone running via a proxy server. This took 3 full days to get to the bottom of after several emails from site visitors experiencing install problems. It was head bending for me as I had to try the install on as many operating systems and proxy/non proxy based servers as possible to ensure I was right.
I sent a full explanatory email detailing the problems experienced by an estimated (then, by my own reckoning, 20%-30% of downloaders) to Tradal. This was, basically costing them, and me big bucks.
No answer. Resend. No answer. Ditto. Ditto.
A year later cheerful Shai phones me and wants me to promote Tradal. :bigsmile:
I gave him an earful on the proxy problem and he promised to provide me with a direct download link that would bypass this problem…just promote us and I will get you the link tomorrow.
Well, tomorrow never comes, I lost MANY players (and also one that never showed on the stats), Tradal lost me and it taught me a lot insofar as to never ever undertake the work an affiliate or marketing company should do themselves.
Recently we undertook a small advertising deal providing premium positions on a months trial. They were unhappy with the conversions from A+++ visitors. It is our fault of course.
I would never in an instant go tell them to go fornicate themselves. They do it well enough without any suggestion from me.
