I don’t think they will mess around too much, they look like good names.
And if they do, just change your links and post about it here to warn other affiliates.

Well this is what I was talking about (reply from winunited):

    Quote:
The reason you cannot log in is because all affiliate accounts have been closed in order to migrate to our new system. It will not be possible to keep you existing customer once this has been done.

    Sorry for any inconvenience

    Regards

    Email : xxxx
    Website: http://affiliates.winunited.com

    Winunited Ltd

Can someone please help me about this? Does CAP community have power to do anything?

anyone promoting them should now blacklist them. Basically they are steeling affiliate players.

for some reason you will always have the odd affiliate program who thinks they can do whatever they want. Unfort. as most of you know this industry is still far from regulated and as long as it isnt these things will happen. Best thing to do is to blacklist them and whenever they call you to make a deal just say please wait a moment and let them wait for 30 minutes before hanging up :roflmao:

    Dear CAP fellows

I receive negative answer fro winunited again:

    Quote:
My suggestion is that, in line with our original plan, we clear your players and concentrate on acquiring new and more valuable players, as your current players are all inactive and provide no value to yourself or WINunited.

Can’t believe that aff manager suggesting me to clear my account and start all over again.
What happened to life time commission??!?!?!?

Please someone help. We can let them do what ever they want with us !!!

Yet another example of how rotten this business has become.

It’s become impossible to trust affiliate programs.

They seem to think nothing these days of breaching contract.

    A contract is a contract.

You can close any contract you like with affiliates, but once you did enter into the contract, you are legally bound by it.

If you want to make a different contract you can do so legally with any new affiliates, or by renegotiating the old contract with old affiliates. But you cannot change it at will after it has been closed. That is the law the world over.

And don’t quote any catch-all clauses that say you can do whatever you want whenever you want – they do not EVER hold up in court and are just something lawyers like to throw in there to discourage lawsuits.

If I sell you a television for $100, and after you receive it you decide you’d rather pay $50 and send me that, I will take you to court for the remainder.

Without strict adherence to contract law there would be no trade possible.

Contract law is cut and dry the world over.

That said, I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. (had to get my small print in there )

Playshare, Roxy and Vegas Affiliates are all in breach of contract. Grand prive just plain stole everyone’s commission permanently.

What have we come to? This is just disgusting! The industry is getting so shady I am wondering if we don’t need a union to defend ourselves.

The civil war on here played right into the crooks’ hands. Before, any programme worth its salt would be wary of upsetting the affiliate community and being blacklisted, hopefully we can build that community up again – starting with everyone removing links to the casino groups mentioned here.

You are so right – it’s very alarming what happened!

Programs just jumped on it when the community got splintered. We are being slaughtered left and right with retroactive contract changes.

We have to do something about it before we lose our source of income. Retroactive contract changes are not legal, period. We don’t have to take it, avoid programs that mess with your income retroactively.

    I have an idea…

    One of us creates a site… ex. casinostoavoid.com >

    1) A group is listed along with all the casinos they manage and the story of why they got blacklisted….

    2) Affiliates post a comments about them and get to leave a link back to their site page containing the blacklisted casinos. (free 1 way link ) not to the index page….

    3) players searching online would find them and read affiliates comments.

    4) there could also be a section for players to comment.

    Golden idea…?

I think this would be an excellent idea

Of course, it would need quite a bit of thought and discussion put into it to get it just right, but I think it would be very useful for webmasters

Ideally, it would be endorsed by the major players in the industry, including CAP, GPWA, AGD, CM (the list goes on…) and the owners of these sites could provide quoted endorsements. The more authority the better.

Maybe reputable online casino owners would also endorse the site?

I think the site would need some careful design to give it a professional appearance, rather than appearing as a portal. More like a listed company’s investor relations site appears – facts, evidence, authority.

All webmasters with reviews to any Grand Prive casinos etc., could point their links towards the appropriate page on the site and hopefully they appear high up on the search rankings for key terms when players are looking for the casinos too – in my opinion a casino that cheats webmasters can’t be trusted not to cheat players

    Good domain!

Maybe a few of us can pitch in to raise some money to create the site design? http://www.99designs.com/

The previouse comments are all great!
