vladcizsolMemberFor the most part you just dont come up with many funny stories glued in front of a computer 12 hours a day, so my funny stories are related to conferences.
Here is one I remember fondly. It goes back to one of the earliest CAP Spring Breaks on Miami Beach. I was hanging out with a group of my best CAP buddies and we started the evening drinking and sampling some interesting “tobaccos”. Eventually we decided to visit a local entertainment establishment called “Thee Doll House.” We took our seats and the drinking and debauchery began. After several hours I told one of the hostesses that we had a birthday boy with us. We pooled our money and much to his surprise he found himself stripped down to his scivvies in a large glass shower up on stage. The entertainers joined our buddy and soaped him down paying careful attention to the areas they felt needed extra washing. The entire club was clapping and screaming and applauding the show. Our mate took it in stride and had a great time and even washed some of the entertainers with special focus on a young attractive german girl. It was a great night and we laughed our asses off so I guess that was pretty funny… Until we woke up the next morning :3eyes:
Ok Yvette thats a story to kick things off, now come pull my finger

InactiveDoes it have to be online can it be a funny offline gaming story?

InactiveWell, it isn’t an online story…but if I hadn’t been introduced to gambling online then it probably wouldn’t have happened.
About 18 months ago my partner and myself went to Vegas for the first time…I know, I know about time! We were playing on some slots machines…taking advantage of the drinks as you do . Well, one of the hosts offering drinks asked for ID for us both. I was flattered – being 25 at the time, but my partner had just turned 21 so we didn’t really mind…we were actually celebrating his 21st and my 25th so expected that he might need ID. Well, anyway – we passed over our passports…nice and British – with ‘United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’ written on the front, while we nattered on about cucumber sandwiches and croquet as us Brits do all the time, revealing our monsterous teeth in the process.
She checked the dates, and passed the passports back to us. As she did, she smiled, and said (looking rather pleased with herself): ‘Am I guessing right from your accents that your from France?’. I couldn’t help but splutter out half my drink, and responded with ‘No, I’m English’. She didn’t seem very impressed with our chuckles, but we couldn’t stop ourselves as we both thought I sounded exactly like Austin Powers (who used exactly the same line in Vegas when an American thought Austin was wearing a fancy dress costume).
I realise that drink makes these instances more amusing, but mistaking an English fellow for one of our cross channel rivals just isn’t something that happens everyday…especially not after the person has just been examining a British passport.
Anyway, I hope that didn’t bore anyone too much…and please no one suggest that I might have a dodgy accent :roflmao:

Looking at my post I made last night, I can blame that on Captain Morgan. Looks like I could barely see the screen.
