Yea I assumed you would get paid more being a good affiliate. I just would like a change, and if the money was good enough I might consider it.

From the few affiliate managers I’ve met, it doesn’t seem they earn all that much. The do get some remuneration based on how well the affiliates they manage do but I think it’s nothing more than a 3rd tier remuneration.

Beeing an affilaite manager is a job – you’re not going to get rich at it but it will pay your bills.

However I am sure you can find some gaming positions at a higher level which woulld pay more.

Have a look at these recruitment agencies which focus on the gaming sector:

    good luck ! V

    Hi,

i’ve often wondered what aff managers make?

I know i’d be good at doing the job provided i was allowed to do it.

It depends on the Casino i guess. My wife used to be a call center manager at one of the bigger groups responsible for several casinos, and she earned about 42K USD per year. Not bad money, but lots of stress and shiftwork. She lasted about 2 years.

working for an online casino in support is a bit of a ruthless job. seen people do it and they had some crazy work timings. not much money but enough for part time income. one guy was happy though – he was a dj so this part time job suited his lifestyle :3eyes:

I can confirm this. This is what Party pays for one of the aff managers higher up in the chain. Saw an ad in the UK Financial Times so it was around 32k GBP – don’t think there were any additional benefits like car, etc.

Good point Engineer but with London prices 32k GBP is more like $6.5k :sarcasm:

1k/month rent for a studio flat in central London. Just to give one example of the outrageous cost of living.

Consider congestion charges £8 per day plus parking £1 per hour, as a minimum, in the City £3:wink-wink, counsil tax, electricity, water, gas, mobile, internet, TV licence, road tax, food, clothes, alcohol, dru…. etc.:roflmao:

    Hi guys,

The salaries earned by affiliate managers in the gaming sector varies hugely dependent on experience, location and of course the size of company. London is perhaps the most highly paid location, however, this is reflected by the high cost of living.

This is quite a vague breakdown of Affiliate manager salaries in London, however, locations such as Malta are growing with a number of affiliate positions being based there.

    Affiliate Exe: £25k – £30k

    Affiliate Manager: £35k – £50k

    Affiliate Director/Senior Affiliate Manager: £60k – £80k+

Please feel free to contact me if you need any further info.

    Kind Regards,

Well there was one group awhile back that was hiring people and it was a joke.
1k per month and you had to have minimums in order to get paid but still expected to work 40 hours a week!!! They wanted people that had affiliates under them already and when you broke it down would pay them less than if they just joined any affiliate program out there.
I was hired and they beat around the bush so much they lost focus and I think even forgot they hired me (or realized I did not have affiliates under me ;) ) then sent me a letter I guess letting me go for some reason.. hell they did not even send me a copy of the contract I signed so how was I even hired yet lol!! what a joke.

In the end I was glad I did not do it and feel sorry for the suckers that fell into that one.

A real job will pay you for your time regardless. Any job that makes you do the following is a scam.
    1. Pay to join
    2. Expect min. performance in order to get paid. <-- like telemarketing (well even they pay you hourly but if you miss the quota for a few days your out)
    3. (some but not all cases) Any company that sighs you up as an independent contractor.
OH! and if you ad #1 to this then welcome to Multi-level marketing.
