vladcizsolMemberYou mean you SLEEP? :p
Even when I am supposedly asleep I DREAM I am working…. Writing pages…. Moderating boards, Checking Serps and fending off the odd attack by evil minded trolls.

InactiveI remember this one time in 2005 when I slept… but I was on a 10 hour plane ride and the battery on the laptop died… so I had no choice. 🙁

Inactivelol …sleep normal? I walk around thinking what time is it in this country or that country and take calls at 3am, just pop up from my resting and chat away just like it was 8am… I do my best thinking when sleeping and come up with the best ideas I just can’t seem to remember them all the time!

InactiveYes … I do but it’s from 2am to 10am
The trick is to work in the morning, take an afternoon/evening break, and then put in another couple of hours (or so) from 11pm to 2am.
You go to bed tired and ready to sleep – and sleep well …
:la-de-da:TRy it – it works

InactiveI too work when I am asleep, and I wake up with the solution to something.
I often get up at 4am to work when it’s all quiet and peaceful… Definitely not keeping hours like normal mortals.

InactiveI often dream about my stats.
Sometimes I have nightmares that they’ve been wiped out. Sometimes I dream that they’ve jumped by loads only to find that they haven’t moved.
I’m not sure which of those is worse

Guestwhen I first started .. I had no broad band.
many times if you wanted to get anything done in any amount of time .. you had to work the late night hours or wait forever for pages to load.
now its the norm.
I usually get to sleep about in time to catch a few hours before I get up t wave at all the people going to work facing rush hour.
I like to wave to them while wearing my robe

Yes, I too started with dial up and it wasnt even 56k, it was 33 or something like that. Hell if I ever had to go back to that I’d prolly shoot myself, or at least the computer.
Now I find myself wasting more time on the quick connection, and still working about the same amount.
Will sleep when were dead, party on; unless youre not invited, then get the f out. :shooter: :happydanc

supervinceMemberNice to see im not alone. Most nights I try to sleep from Midnight to 6am but sometimes I cant get to bed before 2am. And most nights I also go to sleep dreaming that Im working. Sometimes it helps to pound a few beers at night. Helps me to get away from the computer.

I find that I STILL don’t get everything done that I wish I could.:dozing:

InactiveI used to be a night owl but find health a lot better when I stick to my 10am-6.30pm schedule, taking a few breaks and a walk to the beach during the day.
I used to pull the 4am stuff, sleep late, smoke loads but age catches up with ya.

InactiveUnless I am travelling I also have no sleep pattern. I go to bed when I am tired and wake up when my body tells me to. When I start waking up after nightfall (so around 4pm in the winter or later in the summer) I pull an all nighter to reset myself, I am then good for a couple of weeks. But I normally wake up a little later every day.
I’ve tried setting an alarm clock every day for the same time but then I cant sleep at night and I find myself getting more and more sleep deprived until I can no longer function.

InactiveLuckily, I have a baby that makes me go to sleep at night time (9 months old, so we lay down together until she falls asleep, which takes so long that I end up falling asleep, too).
Unfortunately, she also wakes me up early… Anywhere between 6am and 9am.

InactiveThat pretty much sums me up too. It’s okay, really, but it can play havoc if you attempt to have a social life.
You often can’t go to the pub with anyone on the evening ‘cos you’ve only been awake for half an hour and don’t want a beer for ‘breakfast’ – or you’ve been awake 22 hours and can’t see straight.
Arranged to meet a relative? Sorry, Bro – been awake since last year and can’t string two words together.
Forgot you had an appointment at the dentist? Tough break – you ain’t slept in nearly 24 hours and you’re sure to fall asleep in the chair.
Good, huh?
I wish these were exageration of the truth but in my case, they’re not. Right now it’s 7.13am. Woke up about 10pm last night. Supposed to driving 30 odd miles at about 2pm with the GF to meet up with some of her family for a meal and then drinks on the night. I’m gonna be due to fall alseep when we get there and I’m gonna be crap company (yeah, I know – but I mean more crap than normal).
I simply can’t change to a normal sleep pattern – mainly because I don’t want to :dafingers
