InactiveThanks for the welcome, Professor!
There are a number of upgrades to AffiliateGuardDog.com that are coming and coming soon. Included as a feature will be member alerts, which allow any member to subscribe to the alerts system which will not only alert you when T&C’s change, but additionally show the specific changes which triggered the alert system.
As Professor suggests, we are currently monitoring Terms and Conditions for various affiliate programs and analyzing those T&C’s for easy viewing.
As of today, there are 31 programs tracking and 20 programs analyzed. More analysis is coming… Current Program Analysis is located at: Terms and Conditions Analysis
CAP being the media sponsor for AffiliateGuardDog.com is a perfect pairing. Coupling such a quality forum with our service will aid AffiliateGuardDog.com in becoming a powerful voice against retroactive terms changes. We hope that this pairing serves to give affiliates the power necessary to both reverse predatory terms AND change existing predatory contracts.
Thank you Professor and CAP, for your support.

InactiveExcellent news! Thanks so much for all your hard work Kwblue and for keeping is informed of all the predatory terms.
Beware programs that are using predatory terms and those of you thinking of changing terms behind the affiliates back of the bulldog!

If there are any people (whom can be vouched for or that I know) that are willing to aid in the analysis of Terms and Conditions, feel free to PM me. I have a ton of projects ongoing with AGD and I could use all the help I can get!
Thanks guys!

Thanks bb1! No problem. I will continue working my butt off and we already have a couple helpers

Everyone: Don’t forget to get in there and make your comments on terms and suggestions for the next round of additions.

InactiveOur overall analysis:
While the Casino Pays T&C’s do not look bad on the surface, this group uses strongarm tactics and will hold your affiliate payments if they do not feel that you are giving them enough exposure. Additionally, they have spammers actively promoting their brands without repercussion. If that isn’t bad enough, their T&C’s allow them to re-instate negative carryover even if you sign up without it.I prefer this no bullshit approach.
Is there a redemption procedure?
If so, and redemption takes place, will previous reports remain published in an archive?
I cannot find anything wrong with affiliateguarddog, so something must be up.
Nice initiative KW..

Inactivejoeyl wrote:I prefer this no bullshit approach. Is there a redemption procedure?
There is no redemption procedure except the altering of current terms. When those terms and altered to remove predatory terms, the program will have an addendum to the analysis which will show modifications and their status of ‘predatory’ will be removed.
joeyl wrote:If so, and redemption takes place, will previous reports remain published in an archive? All previous reports will remain published. There will be no removal of posts on that forum EXCEPT for spam posts. All Terms and Conditions posts as well as all affiliate / affiliate program comments will remain.

sad isn’t it when things have reached a point on the web where we expect some kind of agenda from what is promised?
in this case however .. just like finding a diamond amongst all you have to sift thru to find it .. I think very certainly you have found the real thing.

InactiveMaybe so BB1, we shall see.
I usually find something I don’t like KWB. I usually say so. Usually get called a nosey naysayer for doing so… On a public messageboard no less.
# I will try to read the forum, but the sideways scrolling makes me sea sick.

Inactivejoeyl wrote:# I will try to read the forum, but the sideways scrolling makes me sea sick. What resolution are you running joeyl? I have never had to scroll at all, but that is with a larger resolution. I have also used 1024×768 without issues, but lower than that scrolling is required. I can certainly look into making the board accessible to 800×600 if there are many users out there that wish a change.
