InactiveI am not sure if this is relevant or not, but I am a U.S. affiliate and successfully signed up for Click2Pay just two days ago (received the verification call and everything). So if Click2Pay has limited/restricted U.S. registrations it was done very recently. Perhaps it’s just a temporary problem and that could explain why it has been difficult to get through to them by phone.

InactiveI’ve had Click2pay for over a year, I don’t use it often as their customer service is the absolute worst. But…I went to my account to log in, and am locked out. Not sure why as can’t talk to customer service either….. I don’t have time for their hold and phone tag games.

GuestI’ve decided to wait and see as it seems to me there will be a crop up of ewallets which will service US customers but this remains to be seen exactly who that may end up to be.
It crosses my mind that Click2pay isn’t worth the hassle since they’ve shown to be so incompetent.
am I wrong in thinking that worst case scenario we can always receive checks from sponsors? I mean it seems to me that there’s little way a bank in the states can know what what a check’s for … unless it states on there a specific reason and specifically where its from.
or am I missing something?

InactiveI am just signing up with ePassporte, has anyone had problems with them?

InactiveI know professor didn’t want to know about international people but …
I just tried to sign up for click2pay.
– No social security number hassles (good because New Zeraland doesn’t have one) :satisfied
– But they did not recognise my mastercard prefix (a major australasian bank)So I could not get past that step and sign up at Click2Pay either.
They seem to have a lot of issues with their processes …

First thoughts — Uh OH/
:tooconfusIt’s a VISA thing.
It hangs off VISA and is usable “where ever VISA is accepted”.Or have I got the wrong site ? https://www.epassporte.com/
Credit card companies have carefully categorised everyone of their merchants, and that’s why they were rather quickly able to stop US cards (and Singaporian Cards) from being used at gambling sites.
Every VISA transaction contains a merchant reference number and a SIC (Standard Industry Code) code.
Basically unless the merchant is being very “subtle” it will say gambling.
By subtle I mean not actually declaring the gambling subgroup and instead “fudging” and saying “entertainment” or “software” group or somesuch.
:hehe:I don’t see how this is any difference to just having a VISA card – and unless the credit card companies are being willfully obstructive they can already determine exactly what “SIC group” each transaction is for.
Let us know how this works out mate – but I’m not convinced it helps American affiliates or players.
