InactiveI got the same email, and I wondered about this also.

InactiveThey are not listed on pokerpulse anywhere in the 280 some rooms listed, so I would think they are just a front. That instant payout deal they talk about on the site is misleading.

InactiveI got the same mail.
I have no idea what that is about.

InactiveI got the email too. Looks like they are affiliates looking for sub affiliates. Personally, I wouldn’t sign up for this one.

Inactivehi guys
i can help you with poker.com
poker.com has its own poker software and runs its own affialite program we have been in live beta for 2 months now.
when you sign up as an affiliate you can select a number of front ends to promote none of these carry any other advertising. type in traffic only goes to the format you see.
we have a few unique features for affiliates such as if a player is dead after 2 months you can promote an additional bonus to him and if after another month still no activity you can market your website back to the player.
Also there is only one pop up on the poker.com that affiliates send traffic too and it carries 4 banners – you can put whatever you like in each banner spot so if the player doesnt convert for you at poker.com you get a chance to send the player somewhere else or back to your site.
We also have instance player payments ( thought you might recognize that from my phoenician casino days ) and we have a daily $3000 free roll tournament starting in less than 2 weeks which will be good for affiliates because for players to be eligible you have to be a depositing player. In addition there will be another $2000 a day in daily free roll non deposit tournaments.
we have a number of onther unique features too.
if you have any questions please drop me an email to [email protected] or my webmasters if the question is technical either [email protected] or [email protected]
i hope you guys like it.
cheers

InactiveOK. I downloaded the software, deposited, played about 20 minutes and withdrew. The withdraw to Neteller is instant, but they charge you 3% or you can wait the normal time and pay no fee. There were only about 50 players, but the 12 or so I played against were soft.
The lobby is funky and won’t help player retention unless they change it. You can’t pick which table you want to play at, just a limit and they put you where they want.

InactiveAlso, just like most poker rooms, they stuck me for 23 cents because they make you cash-out in whole dollars.
Sorry, just a pet peeve. I probably have ten bucks sitting in pennies at poker rooms.

InactiveAny affiliate program spamming shouldn’t be taken notice of IMO. Three of you got an e-mail, I’m willing to be it was the same one with the names changed.

Inactivethis message was sent out to all the people i have done business before with online gaming from an affiliate perspective so i am not sure that constitutes spam. it is a once only mailout , eyes if you dont want to get anymore emails from me no probs i will just remove you from the list just drop me an email with your email address.
for me its a shame you had to go there , i would appreciate constructive criticism from the community about our affiliate program and client. as always i have tried to provide a top of the market offer to affialites and top service to players with instant payments and some other neat features.
cheers

InactiveI received the email as well but refuse to send players to a place where they can click on your Party Poker banner.
If you didn’t have other affiliate links on your site, I would be willing to give it a go.May 15, 2005 at 3:24 am #665566Anonymous
InactiveHi Dean, I didn’t realise you were a Aff manager before. Are you the Dean from Adriches?
My comment was referring to programs that will send a message to one e-mail address I use on SiteA, and the same day I will receive the exact same message from the e-mail address I use on SiteB.
After seeing that several people here received your message I instantly assumed you had done this.
My apologies!

InactiveI think a few of you have a misunderstanding of the console for the poker.com affiliates. The party poker banner you were seeing if you had read further into the program, is actually example of what you can do through their exit console tool.
In the poker.com example they use a party poker.com banner and redirect link but it states that you are allowed to use whatever link and landing page/banner you choose for your exits even if is to another poker room or poker program…..
I actually thought that was a very neat feature…So don’t jump to conclusions on this program – try reading the details and you might actually see how cool it appears to be.
