I have run bingo very quietly on a couple of average traffic sites and have decided to expand, so I did a bit of a look at stats to see who would go where…these are for about 6 months for some, some longer, some shorter and no new ones as they are just being added.
I have included my click counts from my own tracker where there are serious deviations. A dropped click or two is inevitable, but not this many.
This tracker is the same I use for casinos and is very reliable and THEY show little deviation between my records and their stats.
Bingo Hall
clicks 307 accounts 35 Earnt $0.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 383Bingo Revenue (Bingo Tropic/Workz)
clicks 85 Earnt $0.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 187Party Bingo
clicks 18 downloads 0 earnt $0.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 108Bingo Affiliates (Amigo Bingo)
clicks 80 signups 0 $0.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 237Bingo Gala
clicks 105 registrations 4 Earnt $12.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 209Bingo Reward (Geisha Bingo/Bingo Liner)
clicks 63 signups 4 Earnt $245
CLICKS MATCH STATSRich Webmaster (Bingoville)
clicks 77 signups 8 earnt $5.38
I HAVE NO CLICK STATS(Bingo To Go)
clicks 127 signups 7 earnt $0.00
MY CLICK COUNT: 225Bingo to Go still shows at the stats but seem to no longer be handled by rich webmaster? I dumped them anyway.
Bingo Reward appear faultless with great conversions and will get top placement everywhere.
Kiwi Bingo is worthy of mention as the worst program I ever came across….besides changing affiliate programs more times than I change my undies…some 600+ clicks generated nothing.
June 7, 2004 at 6:18 am #650233AnonymousInactiveThis is good information. I’ve been doing some bingo testing, and I was getting a little discouraged about my lack of conversions. But it’s early in the test still.
I’m promoting most of the bingo rooms you mention on my new site, so I’ll keep an eye on them too and let you know what I find out.
June 7, 2004 at 7:47 am #650234AnonymousInactiveGood one Randy, a bit of cross correlation would be good.
The biggest ever tracking discrepancies I ever found with casinos were ages ago…starluck and planetluck…both only ever showed about 1/3 of the actual traffic sent and for the amount of traffic that was their discrepancies were mindboggling .
To clarify with the click tracking…a few amiss here and there is normal and I am happy to live with around 10/100 discrepancy as these may be closeouts or the odd glitch.
In fact most I find are only 2 or 3 out per 100.
June 7, 2004 at 10:42 am #650236vladcizsolMemberThese are EXACTLY the same sort of numbers I have seen when testing BINGO in the past.
June 7, 2004 at 11:09 am #650240AnonymousInactiveOK…a few bingo aff managers are due a dauber in the eye (purple, as that is the colour of choice among bingo players…I know this cos of months of strenuous research ).
Perhaps a bit of internal testing is in order? Hands up any bingo promoters prepared to participate?
It seems obvious some of these programs need to shape up!
Be interesting to see if further input backs up results so far…
June 7, 2004 at 11:12 am #650241vladcizsolMemberThe problem is we have had ERONEOUS feedback in the past about Bingo performance which muddies the waters.
I would be very curious to see an HONEST assesment on how well Bingo does perform and which partner(s) are best to focus our efforts on.
June 7, 2004 at 11:35 am #650244AnonymousInactiveAfter reading these posts I think the time has come to drop the BingoHall. I have had them online for 3months now and there has been over 600 visits 33 registerations and what the bottom line – You guessed it = Zero
Ok Geisha Bingo – Here I come!!
June 7, 2004 at 1:47 pm #650249AnonymousInactiveWith regards to best Bingo Halls and results, all my results match those posted bar the “other” playtech properties (I too can’t get a player at Kiwi or Tiki Bingo!)
Give Ruby Bingo a spin but she is a bit over marketed by now. She has brought me in my only bingo whales (3 in all) (individuals dropping about $250 per day, every day)
Also try Miss Bingo (IOG). This bingo hall is showing signs of matching Ruby but is very much less marketed than Ruby. My players are not the teeny tiny ones I get at Bingo Workz properties and are infinitely more loyal to the playtech bingo halls.
June 7, 2004 at 2:59 pm #650255AnonymousInactiveI have been trying to tell everyone about Bingo Reward
for some time!It is definitely the best performer.
But others do come along, just slower for some reason. It’s the software I think, in combination with the chat supervisors. Bingo Reward has very wonderful people guiding chat and giving info. They are spending their money in the right way – chat is the backbone of Bingo.
People who do well with Poker will do well with Bingo once they find a good source of female visitors. It’s the same type thing, one for males, one for females.
June 7, 2004 at 3:51 pm #650257AnonymousInactiveWOW – those are some depressing hit shaving stats if Ive ever seen them – heck if their shaving that many hits, you KNOW they are shaving profits as well!
I dont push bingo, so I have never seen their stats software, but I would assume that they are similar to those used by the casino programs. Several programs Ive tested in that realm believe it or not have been tested 100% accurate with regards to hits.
So are the stats these programs (bingo) similar to those I am used to, eg. is that potentially to blame, or are they just a bunch of greedy $%#!@#%

I will volunteer BingoHall.com for testing.
As you pointed out, there is almost always some discrepancy between clicks sent and clicks recorded by the affiliate program. Unfortunately, that is inherent with Internet tracking systems, but we certainly try to be as accurate as possible.
Let me know how you’d like to test us out. We have nothing to hide!

June 10, 2004 at 5:54 pm #650383AnonymousInactiveI have the exact same earnings as deaning experianced. For me it is only Bingo Rewards who converts and actually makes money.
Contact Larry if you need to get set up, he is strait up and runs a good program.

June 10, 2004 at 7:12 pm #650386AnonymousInactiveDean & Brian:
Sorry to hear that you have not had success with http://www.BingoHall.com so far, but I felt the need to respond because I don’t want you to give other webmasters the impression that Bingo Hall doesn’t make money.
The reality is that Bingo Hall is one of the biggest bingo sites on the Web, we have more players and make more money than any of the Bingo Rewards sites.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with Bingo Rewards … I just want people to know that Bingo Hall is a very successful site. For example, we have some affiliates who say that Bingo Hall is the ONLY bingo site that converts for them.
However, 95% of our bingo customers come from our own direct marketing so it’s fair to say that we have some work to do to improve our affiliate program. That’s why I was brought on board. Bingo Hall has been online since 2001, but until now, the affiliate program was not a high priority.
I am currently in the process of developing some new “skins” to help improve your conversion ratios.
And as for our affiliate stats, we are happy to allow CAP or any other 3rd party to audit our stats for accuracy. We do NOT shave clicks or players!
I want everybody to know that we are working hard to improve our affiliate program. The more money YOU make, the more we make.
June 10, 2004 at 9:00 pm #650397AnonymousInactiveHello Mariners, I did not mean to insinuate (cannot spell) that there was a problem with your site but that my base of customers have not converted there.
I have found that bingo and poker sites are quite different than casino sites. For whatever reason I find just one or two poker and bingo sites convert for me and that the others have a zero conversion.
In discussing this with other webmasters at the South beach get together I found that several had the same experiance. I think that webmasters need to test as many as possible and stick with what works.
Hope there are no hard feelings here, I believe you run an honest program.

June 10, 2004 at 9:08 pm #650398AnonymousInactiveHey Brian,
No offense taken.
I just didn’t want everybody to think Bingo Hall sucks.
You are right … lots of webmasters are having trouble making bingo work. It’s also true that one bingo site will work well for one webmaster, while another webmaster will get no results from the exact same bingo site.
Lou has asked me to write an article for CAP on how best to promote bingo. I am working on that now and hope to have something posted in the next week or so.
It’s definitely a different animal than promoting casinos. I’m collecting some good examples of stuff that works for other webmasters and I will be posting it online soon.
